What is AKS-FAB?

AKS-FAB is a streetwear brand with a focus on creating unique, individual garments for creative people. Some garments are hand-sewn from thrifted or second-hand fabrics, and others are upcycled with different techniques - screenprinting, bleaching, dying, sewing, and embroidery. Any creative process we can experiment with, we will. 'AKS' is short for ack's (Cole Ackerman is the designer) and 'FAB' is short for fabrication.

Are your pieces really 1 of 1?

Yes. Almost 100% of garments are 1-of-1, meaning no two items are exactly the same. Even when a style appears more than once, each piece is individually made and may vary in fabric, fit, or detail.

How often do you release new items?

We release a new drops at the beginning of each month, with pieces designed to fit the season. Once an item sells out, it may never return.

Do you restock items?

Most items do not restock, especially 1 of 1 pieces. Occasionally, we may revisit a concept or silhouette, but fabrics and details will always differ.

Where are AKS-FAB garments made?

All garments are designed and handmade by me in Chicago or Boston. We prioritize hands-on production over mass manufacturing.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page includes sizing information based on US sizing. Because many items are handmade, slight variations may occur. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out before ordering — we’re happy to help you choose the best fit.

Do you offer custom sizing or alterations?

In some cases, yes. If you’re interested in custom sizing or adjustments, please contact us before purchasing to see what’s possible.

What is your return or exchange policy?

Due to the handmade one-of-one nature of our items, all sales are final unless otherwise stated. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we’ll work with you to find a solution.
