AKS-FAB is a Chicago and Boston-based artisanal brand founded in 2022 by Cole Ackerman.
Born from a desire to experiment with personal style beyond conventional fashion boundaries, AKS-FAB transforms secondhand garments and salvaged fabrics into one-of-a-kind wearable art.
The brand has grown from a personal creative outlet into a collaborative-driven collective, co-creating with local artists, organizations, and brands to push the creative scene into one more geared towards community.

Through reworking discarded textiles, we integrate sustainable energy into your clothes, creating one-of-a-kind pieces, empowering you to rewrite fashion's story on your own terms.
Cole's interest in fashion emerged while moving from Hong Kong to Boston, where he saw an uninspired school style as an opportunity for creative expression.
What began as upcycling and commissioning clothes for friends slowly evolved into the brand it is today. Collaboration, learning, and teaching now shape both his personal and artistic practice.
All items are made or customized by members of the AKS-FAB team in the USA.
